Covid-19 Vaccination Policy Statement
Current as at 3 May 2022
Recently amended text is shown in bold and underlined.
Life Camps Australia desires to see the Gospel spread. We are determined to fulfil our mission by sharing the love of Jesus through camps that are full of faith, joy and life.
We want everyone to be able to attend our camps and are pleased that Government guidelines now allow this. However, we are constrained by the guidelines and the requirements of the campsites we use. If for any reason a particular campsite's guidelines do not align with Government guidelines we will advise participants at the time of registration.
In light of this;
We thank you for your understanding and continued support during these complex times.
If you would like further information, please contact the Chair of the Board, Natalie Burchett, at natalieburchett@gmail.com
We want everyone to be able to attend our camps and are pleased that Government guidelines now allow this. However, we are constrained by the guidelines and the requirements of the campsites we use. If for any reason a particular campsite's guidelines do not align with Government guidelines we will advise participants at the time of registration.
In light of this;
- We desire the Gospel to spread so we will continue to run camps. This is our core mission. We recognise that if particular campsites have requirements in relation to vaccination status we may not be able to reach the same number of campers that we usually would. We believe it is vital to still run our camps in order to see lives transformed by the love of Jesus.
- Unless otherwise advised at the time of registration, there is no obligation for attendees to be vaccinated or to declare their vaccination status.
- Masks may need to be worn if required by Government or campsite guidelines.
- If there is a government requirement to do so, all attendees will be required to check in using the QR code.
- Any attendee who becomes unwell with symptoms that might be related to Covid19 may be isolated and sent home (at the discretion of the Camp Organiser).
- Every attendee is asked to bring at least four Rapid Antigen Tests ("RAT") with them, in case they develop symptoms which warrant a RAT being undertaken.
We thank you for your understanding and continued support during these complex times.
